The promotional event for the movie Animal, featuring Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, and Anil Kapoor, recently took place in Chennai before the film's release. During a press conference, the team addressed questions about the authenticity of the machine gun scene showcased in the trailer, which faced trolling on social media. Suresh Selvarajan, the production designer for "Animal," clarified that the 500 kg machine gun was meticulously crafted from real steel over a span of four months and isn't computer-generated imagery (CGI). This colossal machine is set to make an appearance in the 18-minute-long interval action sequence, a feat unprecedented in Indian cinema, as per Selvarajan. He credited director Sandeep Reddy Vanga's vision for the creation. Ranbir Kapoor also shared insights, expressing his initial astonishment upon witnessing the war machine created entirely from scratch by Suresh Selvarajan. He commended the originality and innovation behind the creation, acknowledging the great collaboration between Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Suresh Selvarajan.

The actor further emphasized, "We're not using real firearms on set. We must simulate and envision the impact of operating such a massive machine on our bodies and ears as we shoot for extended hours. I had to vividly imagine that scenario since the bullets weren't real but simulated. That's the enchantment of the cinematic world."

Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Animal" boasts a runtime of 3 hours and 21 minutes. Scheduled for release on December 1, it's set to clash with Vicky Kaushal's "Sam Bahadur." The advance ticket bookings have already commenced for the film. Backed by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar's T-Series, Murad Khetani's Cine1 Studios, and Pranay Reddy Vanga's Bhadrakali Pictures, The film will hit theaters in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages with a theatrical release.
